Can you tell me more about the Personal Coaching Option?
The Personal Coaching Option is for those who want a deeper level of personalized support and guidance as they work through the course. In addition to the full course, you’ll receive 6 one-hour coaching sessions with me, scheduled at your pace throughout the 8-week program. These sessions help you learn the techniques and apply the course material directly to your life.
 
For many, the course alone provides everything they need to increase their happiness and contentment. However, if you’re someone who values having one-on-one attention and would benefit from additional accountability and personalized feedback, the coaching sessions can help you achieve even deeper results.
I am wondering if I have done something like this before
The course is a unique combination of many things I have learnt over the years, along with my life experience. I have not seen anything put together in this way with the goal of helping you become happier and more content, both in the short term and in the long term. You will gain knowledge of the path and the skills, and support to put them into practice so you see the benefit in your own life.
Is this counselling or therapy?
No. Neither the course itself, or the personal coaching is counselling or therapy.
The course is done in a group. It is interactive. You do exercises with the other participants and there is time for you to ask questions about the content, and how to apply it. However, the course doesn’t focus on your personal history, and is not adjusted to meet the different needs of each participant.
If you choose the personal coaching option, you can think of it as having a personal trainer at the gym, or personal coach when you are learning any skill. Personal coaching can be extremely helpful to learn and apply the happiness and contentment skills in your life. Again, this coaching is not therapy. If you are already seeing a therapist, the course and coaching can be very supportive and empowering to the work you are doing with your counsellor/therapist.
How much time does it take each day?
You should spend at least 10 minutes each day to practice what you are learning. Initially, it is better if you have some quiet, uninterrupted space. Some people practice just before they go to sleep. After a while, you will find you can do extra practice anywhere, even while you are waiting in line at the supermarket. As you progress through the course, you might want to do 2 practice sessions of 10 minutes each day.
Is the course religious?
No. The course is not religious, and the contents are not for or against any religion or spiritual beliefs.
If you are religious/spiritual, then I please bring that part of you to the exercises and practices. I expect you will find your religious beliefs and the course contents fit very well together.
Who should not do this course?
The course requires you to participate to get results in your life. You need to attend the sessions live, and spend at least 10 minutes every day practising to get value from the course.

If you have significant mental health challenges at the moment, please reach out to have a chat before you enrol to make sure this is a good time for you to do the course. If you are already seeing a counsellor/therapist, this course might be extremely supportive to that work. I am happy to have a chat with your counsellor/therapist if needed.
